Benefit Mascara

By

Benefit mascara is well known on the market today because of its high quality ingredients offered at an affordable rate. Whether you are going out for a night on the town or heading to the grocery store, a proper dose of mascara could do wonders for your face and attitude as a whole. While using Benefit mascara is great on its own, there are some things you could do to maximize your results from the mascara. Here are some eye makeup tips that you may use to make your mascara worth the investment.

Make Your Eyes Bright

The brighter you can make your eyelids and the area around them, the better off you will be. The dark mascara will contrast well when you have light areas surrounding it. You can put white eye shadow on your tear ducts and under your eyebrows to make your eyes pop against the Benefit mascara. This will also help you look more awake throughout the day. Apply Benefit High Beam or Benefit concealer underneath your eye to cover the dark circles (if you have any), and you should be all set.

Use Eyeliner

Eyeliner can instantly add to your mascara if you use it properly. The key to getting a good look this way is to make sure the line of the liner does not look too harsh. If you use a pencil, you can make the lines look a little rough but still polished. Do that right along the edge of the lash line and then go over it with eye shadow to subdue the intense liner. Add mascara and you will have instant attention drawn to your eyes.

Apply Multiple Layers

Many women assume that one layer of mascara is enough, but you can get much better results by applying two or three layers instead. Apply a layer of Benefit mascara to one side and then move on to the other eye. Then immediately go back to the first eye while it is still trying to dry and apply the second layer. Start at the base of the lash and wiggle the brush back and forth up the lashes. This will give you a much fuller set of lashes. You could take a break to apply some Benefit Dr. Feelgood or Benefit Hoola and then come back to apply another layer or two if you so desired.

Avoid Clumps

If you find that your mascara has started to clump on your lashes, get a mascara brush or clean mascara wand and brush them out. Let the mascara dry before trying to go over it with another layer. One easy way to avoid clumps is to stop pumping your mascara wand every time you apply. Many women do this, but that actually traps air into the mascara bottle. The air dries out the mascara and causes it to clump. Just pull the wand out, wipe off excess mascara on the rim, and put it on your lashes. It is that simple. Get as creative as you want from there and you may be thinking of eye makeup tips all your own.
